VFW Post
1599 Goes Non-Smoking
Effective
September 1, 2025, VFW Post 1599 will be a non-smoking facility.
This action
was approved by the Home Association Board of Directors and the Post Board of
Officers
and is primarily based on a survey of veterans who are Post 1599
members who
overwhelmingly approved of going non-smoking and desire to have a
clean and
healthy environment in the Post.
The non-smoking rules apply to all
forms of tobacco smoking to include vaping, e-cigarettes, etc.
Smokers are
invited to use the covered canopy area on the Stanley Street side entrance.
A
reminder that according to PA state laws, alcoholic beverages purchased in the
Post must be consumed inside of the building proper.

A few club rules
No hats are to be worn in the club
Each member can sign in 3 guests, they MUST be signed in and they should have a name tag.
Guest are NOT allowed to purchase drinks at the bar, all beverages are to be purchased by the member.
The member is totally responsible for their guests, if they leave the guests must also leave.
