Attention All VFW Members and Guests
VFW Post 1599 Goes Non-Smoking
Effective September 1, 2025, VFW Post 1599 will be a non-smoking facility.
This action was approved by the Home Association Board of Directors and the Post Board of Officers
and is primarily based on a survey of veterans who are Post 1599 members who
overwhelmingly approved of going non-smoking and desire to have a clean and
healthy environment in the Post.
The non-smoking rules apply to all forms of tobacco smoking to include vaping, e-cigarettes, etc.
Smokers are invited to use the covered canopy area on the Stanley Street side entrance.
A reminder that according to PA state laws, alcoholic beverages purchased in the
Post must be consumed inside of the building proper.
